I recently read this Author's "Sold to the Alpha" book, and gave it 3-Stars. This one was slightly less satisfying than the other one. This one was shorter (I believe the other one was actually three shorter books rolled into one volume). Again, this one was plagued with proofreading errors. I thought I would enjoy this one more than I did, because this one had a more appealing female lead and two male interests. Unfortunately, I didn't care for one of the male leads at all, and the shorter length of this book hurt the romance aspect.This is not really a stand alone novel; if you haven't read at least one of the other books, you will be unfamiliar with the world and the repeating characters. It is an adult read. I personally like this World with the various Shifter societies, so this was a decent read for me. But I would have appreciated a longer story.

While this book is the story of Delyse, Eric, and Viggo it did not seem complete. Parts of the story seemed to be missing, explaining the love story and how decisions and discussions were decided. Eric seems a brute, yet Delyse loves him but has feelings for Viggo too. The book continues the story from the first two books in the series, which really should be read first. I only gave a three stars due to felt the story should have been further fleshed out, but still a good read.
This is another story about the girls from Alma Venus School. This was a wonderful action and suspense story that keep me on the edge of my seat. The Alpha of the Dragon clans has been asleep for over 700 years and Eric does not feel a need to stay awake. When Viggo gets in his mind to get his Alpha Eric to stay awake he buys Delyse as a bride. Over the months that they are waiting for the right time that Eric will awake for under 11 minutes. Viggo is slowly come to have some hard feeling for Delyse. Eric has lost his love before and has hard his heart to not make the same mistake again, will Delyse be able to change his mind? What is Delyse to do when she has to choose between the Alpha and Beta? Highly recommend this book and others that are in the series.
I thought she had me with The Hidden Alpha, but Claimed by the Dragons has got to be my favorite book by Cara Wylde to date. It's sexy and has a rich and complex plot which ties the whole Alma Venus universe together. Delyse Harrington has really come into her own, from having been the delicate little girl donated by her parents to the Alma Venus boarding school to the woman loved by not one but TWO hot noble dragons. It's different from the other relationships in this universe, and it does not disappoint. The author wrote these characters so well, I found myself salivating. Love it, highly recommend it for lovers of paranormal romance and ménage!
Another brilliant book in this series about the girls at the school called Alma Venus. The girls are sent to this school to be trained to be shifter wives. This is Delyse's (also called Lily) story. She has been sold to be the wife of Dragon Alpha Eric who has been asleep for 700 years. In the meantime, his beta, Viggo has been running the clan. He is the one who met and bought Delyse for Eric, but he has fallen in love with her, and she with him. He is honorbound to let Eric have her, and ignore his feelings. What follows is a hot heavy menage between Delyse and her two dragons. This is a stand alone book, but after reading it you will want to readc the two previous books about Delye's school friends, Sold To The Alpha and The Hidden Alpha.

Delyse was volunteered by her father to be a shifter bride and she has been raised to do just that. Getting to know the Drekinn Clan and spending time with Viggo has been the highlight of her three final years at the academy. She has only admitted to one other person she fell in love with Viggo and does not know what to do. Viggo only told his sister and he cannot agree with her opinion on what to do. He decides to avoid Delyse. Eric is a cold Alpha, from his many years hibernating and of necessity to lead the clan. He is also very astute. Delyse's father is trying to convince the Council to back the research in a shifter venom cure and create hybrids out of the human, shifter brides.
The scenario is I assume earth. The made up stupid sounding names of some of the locations and characters was something I could do without. I liked the characters and the progression of the story. Delyse the "donation" to the shifters so they could choose which shifter community she would be chosen for. Vigil, the Beta of dragon clan Drekinn who bought Delyse for his Alpha Eric Drekinn. Eric had been hibernating for seven hundred years and was really not interested in awakening. He could only wake for short times during some of the eclipses. Viggo had placed Delyse in the ice cave with Eric hoping her presence would encourage Eric to stay awake and lead his clan. It worked. Only, Viggo had fallen in love with Delyse while waiting for Eric to awaken. When confronted with Eric in the cave she felt pulled to him as well as Viggo. Read the story to find how the three ultimately solve the problem. If this note sounds crazy it's because it is 220 am! I should be sleeping. I wish you all a good read!
